Wednesday, April 27 is Administrative Professional's Day so I am taking the opportunity to recognize, thank and celebrate my executive assistant, Angie Sattler. There is truly no better role model than Angie! She is so well organized, always completing tasks with excellence, and always with cheerfulness.

I knew she would make the perfect assistant several years ago when I hired her to organize my small bathroom. I thought, “Wow, you really know how to help people!” I hired her, and she’s just continued to be a huge blessing professionally to the team and personally as a friend.

A while back Angie and I recorded a podcast episode called A Guide for Hiring an Executive Assistant, and we talked all about the huge importance of a good assistant and what strengths this person should have. Highly recommend!

I asked Angie to share her favorite RSD products to help her stay organized and confident as Executive Assistant. Hopefully some of her insights will inspire you to excel in your unique role. :)

1948 Lauren Tote in Tobacco: I LOVE how much I can carry in this beautiful bag! It has a wide opening so I can find everything easily and the variation in the leather color is SOOO beautiful!

RSD Jovie in Zephy Mae fabric: How can I NOT have a product that represents both of my amazing daughters (Jovie Claire, 6; and Zephy Mae, 2)?! I use this daily to keep my laptop safe and to house all my notebooks, favorite pens and papers/files! 

RSD Philip Tote in Charcoal Waxed Canvas: I grab for this versatile bag ALL THE TIME. It's perfect for going to baseball games, playdates with friends, the park — you name it! I can fit a blanket, water bottles, snacks and loads more inside! I used this for my work bag before I got my 1948 Lauren, as my Jovie and other essentials fit perfectly inside. I love the open main cavity so I can easily find whatever I'm looking for!

RSD Cosmetics in various fabrics: I use this to organize all the little things, like my hand sanitizer, lip balm, mints, fingernail clippers, nail file, etc. I also have one in my work bag for post-it notes, a mini stapler and for keeping my AirPods safe and secure!

RSD Lizzies in various fabrics: I use one for my blue light glasses (a MUST if you frequently look at a computer screen, like I do) and one for my feminine products. I also use one for my favorite pens (Sharpie, InkJoy and Zebra Sarasa Grand pens are my faves), pencils (I prefer mechanical so they're always sharp, but Bekah's influenced me to enjoy a classic Ticonderoga pencil as well), and some highlighters (I think the liquid Sharpie brand are the best). 

RSD Pollies in various fabrics: These are perfect for hair ties and hair clips for my girls, an extra set of earbuds (in case I forget my AirPods) and spare change in the car! 

RSD Kinley Cube in Olive Waxed Canvas: I use this daily to store my makeup and look forward to opening the beautiful coral zipper to access my stuff when I get ready in the morning!

RSD Amber Crossbody in Zephy Mae fabric: This is my "everyday" purse when I'm running errands or heading to church. There's room for everything I need for myself, plus I can throw a diaper, wipes, snacks and a few kids toys too! I love having the option to go hands-free, but sometimes I detach the crossbody strap and put it in the back zipper pocket if I want more of a handbag look.

RSD Wristlet in Terracotta Cup: My wristlet is perfect for when I meet friends for coffee or when I'm heading downtown and want to travel light! It fits my keys, phone and lip balm perfectly! I also make sure I pack this when I go on vacation. :) 

1948 Cleo: This beauty is perfect for date night or nights out with friends! I got black leather, which is beautiful and easily dresses up or down. And I LOVE using the braided wristlet handle as a key fob! 

RSD Key Fob in various fabrics: Having this on my keys is a MUST so I can easily find them in my purse or coat pocket.

RSD Terracotta Cup Olive: This is the hospital bag I treated myself with when Zephy was born. I LOVE packing for trips because Olive literally holds EVERYTHING I need!

RSD Rozzi: I have the Limited Edition Tomboy version, and absolutely LOVE this style when I'm needing to go hands-free but have to carry more than my wristlet. I love that I can swing it around my body to access what's inside and it's SO comfortable to wear!

As you can see, I not only work for RSD, but I am a very big fan! ;)
